On 25th January 2024, ETSI hosted an online workshop, jointly organized with CCSA (China Communications Standards Association) and ETSI ISG MEC (Multi-access Edge Computing).

The goal was to openly share information among the two standard groups, on the activities covered in the area of C-V2X.

The automotive domain is quite important for MEC, and Chinese market is also well advanced in that domain. Thus, regional standards and alignment are quite important for global adoption of MEC solutions on practical automotive deployments.
